American Literature
brought to life
Eternity Box films was started with the goal of bringing American literature to life as film. Our first film was from the father of American literature, Charles Brockden Brown. Wieland is a tale of religious madness, sexual desire and murder.

Why Literature?
It represents the very best view to the past: our nation's literary legacy made into films accessible to the masses. Stories with depth by Brown, Hawthorne, Faulkner, Poe, Irving, and Pierce feature characters that are real and grey. No superheroes, but deep flawed individuals dealing with love, loss, tragedy.
We need, not want, to bring it to life. We hope that you will join us on this journey.

Nathaniel Hawthorne's most personal work "The Blithedale Romance" has never been brought to film till now. A fascinating look at mid 19th century America and its obsession for utopian communities. The characters are loosely disguised versions of Margaret Fuller (the mother of feminism), Herman Melville (author of Moby Dick), and Hawthorne himself.
It explores sexual desire in all its forms and the destruction that ambition and love can bring.
Filming is planned for October 2024
